Waupaca: Day 188, Thank God It’s Friday!

When life gives you a good day…
you turn it into a journal :)

I have been in an absolutely awesome mood since last night (Thursday). I got home and cleaned my room and I had my room filled with Taylor Swift’s music and when it comes to Taylor Swift, Izzati is never not in a good mood, haha! And truth is I hadn’t listened to any of her songs lately and I think that is why my brain system didn’t feel like putting some cooperation with its master (hm) for the past few days. Oh well, but yeah as soon as I put my playlist on speaker and started singing on the top of my lungs, I felt like the old Izzati is back… haha!

Then at 4ish Kaylee and her boyfriend Adam picked me up for bowling practice. I guess they both are two of my favorite people to talk to, in the car on the way to the bowling alley I just started talking and they listened to me and responded and we ended up having a nice car ride conversation. During practice I had fun bowling and also goofing with my friends, and it hit me that I’m totally going to miss them once bowling ends… This Sunday is the bowling conference and I hope I can do my best!

Moving on.

After I got home I ate dinner before I was drowned into my school assignments. Getting my homework done in my room I just finished cleaning = one of the best feelings ever! And plus I had Taylor Swift music on hahaha and it got me very productive, I finished my US History homework and also Creative Writing, and by the time I got everything done it was only 8 o’clock, so I went to the internet and SURPRISE SURPRISE both of my sisters were online!!! So yeah guess what happened next, we talked of course :) I miss them both so much! My oldest sister is doing wonderful with her life and her job, and my second sister as well with her family of a husband and a daughter. Too bad I couldn’t get ahold of my parents :( But I talked with my mom a couple of days ago and she told me that my dad will be flying to France soon for a business trip… I’m so glad that all of my family are doing extremely well!

Soon after that my friend Levy who’s in West Virginia called me on Skype and we talked for a couple of minutes before I finally hit the bed. I went to sleep feeling like I really deserve the sleep for the things I’ve done that night (that I know I was supposed to be doing, lol). The only thing that bugs me was my heater that has decided to stop working, but other than that everything was just fine. I slept with 5 blankets on and it was enough to keep me warm and send me to a good night sleep :)

Now I can get to my Friday journal… so these are the things that happened today:

  • A little bit of Taylor Swift in the morning = good start of the day.
  • Women’s Concert Chorale and Choir class. I sang as best as I could and it felt wonderful!
  • YELLOW CODE!!! Hah bingung kan, jadi ternyata segerombolan polisi datang bawa anjing yang tugasnya ngendus-ngendus loker murid buat mastiin ketidakberadaan (halah maksa) obat-obatan terlarang. Tapi untungnya ngga ditemuin apa-apa, hahaha.
  • IT SNOWED REAL HARD OUTSIDE heck yeah!!!

  • Got a belated Valentine’s gift… Extremely happy because it was so unexpected. My day = made.

Meet Cornelius Jr :)

  • Poignant lyrics. So in Creative Writing class our current project is to find a song(s) that moves us. And then we are to take an excerpt from the powerful lyrics to create an inspirational poster(s). Guess what I ended up with… 25 poignant lyrics from Taylor Swift songs. Hahahahahaha. And somehow it just made my day even better! I printed my lyrics out and read them through during lunch and I became extremely happy and cheerful and excited. Oh, and what is poignant, you ask?

  • Solo Ensemble singing practice with Mrs Morrissey. So have I told you guys that I’ll be singing two solo pieces in the upcoming Solo Ensemble Festival the 3rd of March? ISN’T THAT LEGIT OR WHAT. Hahahaha. I’ll be singing one Italian song and a song from the musical play Funny Girl, “Don’t Rain On My Parade”! I’ve been practicing and it felt so darn good and Mrs Morrissey is an awesome teacher and yesterday she said that my voice has a nice vibrato in it HAHA made me happy! Music is my sweet escape <3 Haha geleh, biarin ah.
  • THE ALL-SCHOOL PLAY “MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM” FIRST PUBLIC PERFOMANCE!!!! I will put details about the play in a separate post but I just can’t help to spoil the pictures my friend Christie took during make up time :)
